darkplaces help

I'm new to this and i need help getting darkplaces. So if anyone could help that would be great.

i got that far but when i go to play it says "you have reached this screen due to missing content" or something like that. and the only options it gives me is to open the command thing or quit. what am i missing?

...you have it in the quake folder with the other quake.exe['s] ruight?
