Yea man I had to start with a clean quake folder for QRack to work for some reason. I remember it being distorted, don't remember how though.Comment

The distortion sounds like either a driver issue, or conflicting settings.
( gl_beergoggles is a distortion effect
) Hunting down the setting that your gfx card doesnt like is a pain in the ass, and sometimes reverting back to default will solve the problem. But until the actual cvar setting or even a combination of settings causing the problem is identified this will be a reoccurring problem.
