  • proquake4 tearing

    hi,

just dl'ed latest proquake and its just great in every aspect but the vsync feature.
switch stays in off state and i cant change it. the result is annoying tearing of the screen when moving/turning

i switched the feature (async flip) within the driver but it doesnt help.
d3dpro.exe is a waste, wqpro.exe doesnt produce tearing but its not much different than orig winquake.

other games doesnt do this ugly tearing...

    anyone?
    thanks

ps my setup: asus p5gc-mx/1333 MB - integrated intel 945gc vga (82945g express chipset family) , core2duo 2.66, 2gb ram, win xp sp3

Yeah the Intel OpenGL drivers don't seem to support vsync on Windows.

Since ProQuake 4 is OpenGL, there isn't a way to force vsync that I know of.

What issues? If it's anything I can fix I'm interested in knowing.
