I really enjoy using QRack, but I am running into some issues at the same time.
1. Is there a way to remove the tan color background in the scoreboard? I'd prefer transparent or no background at all.
A: Fixed! scr_scoreboard_fillalpha 0 sets the background to transparent.
2. I use mouse2 to move forward. For some reason or another, I like to bring down the console to read texts. When the console is down, I can no longer move. Is this a bug? This was not an issue for Proquake.
A: Fixed! I turned on Fullscreen, and now I can use mouse2 to move forward while console is down.
3. I have bound killstats and quadstats to some keys, but when I hit them, the game freezes (with the telephone symbol) for one second or two. Is this a bug, or do I need to turn something off?
4. How come cl_truelightning and r_wateralpha resets themselves to default values even when I have these defined in my autoexec?
A (partial): I have scripts to record demo when connecting to a server, so Rook's response about cl_truelightning makes sense. As for r_wateralpha, the value is set for 0.2, but the water is still solid. However, when I actually change this value in the built-in menu, it changes the surface water to transparent.
5. I like the new graphics, with the exception of the rocket. Is there a way to just use the default rocket graphic along with the new weapon graphics?
A (partial): Lightning_Hunter suggested changing the particle trail. I was referring to the actual rocket. Right now, its sort of orange, rather than the original rocket model. I have it set to the particle trail that matches to the original quake, but the rocket model itself is still orange.
