  • client question

Are there any nq clients that support either drawflat or cl_noprint/msg_filter ? cl_gibfilter would also be nice. Thanks

edit: any before you say fteqw, that's technically a qw client. I got ezquake loaded up if i wanted to use qw.

the latest version of qrack supports cl_nocenterprint

which turns off all forms of typing/text/information on the center screen. Not sure about the gib one.

Thanks to rook for implementing it!

NO NO NO! what msg_filter/cl_noprint does is remove the CHAT.

Hmm could be added very easily actually.
Currently cl_mute 1 only turns off the talk.wav sound when messages come in.

gl_max_size 1 will produce the drawflat effect on any quake client.

          gl_gibfilter 1 and gl_bodyfilter 1 work in Qrack too.

FitzQuake supports r_drawflat, but I suspect not the way you want it. I'm kinda confused as to why you'd want it anyway.

Well, maybe it could be useful for cheating in multiplayer.
