Qrack 1.90 stops responding

I try to open glQrack.exe but all I get is the stopped responding message. I don't get any other message, only that. Does anyone else have this?

and only quake crashes ?
whicht other progs u simultaneously running ? if any
only Qrack does this ? not proquake or darkplaces ?
u add anything to your command line ?
drivers ?
GLquake work ?
did qrack work fine b4 this happening ?
did u change any settings in qrack last time u played ?

Yes, yes, only Qrack, no, NVidia GeForce 8600 GT, no, this started happening after I reinstalled Windows 7, no. I just updated my drivers, now it says OpenGL is out of date, how the hell do I download OpenGL? There's no downloads on their site.

Maybe Qrack 1.90 doesn't love you anymore.


Have you tried compatibility mode? Not sure how Windows 7 handles compatibility but it was pretty simple in Windows XP

I got the same error msg... upgraded to the newest qrack beta... now all is well.

The out of date error is because you have opengl32.dll in the /Quake folder.

Use compatibility mode with 1.90 and Windows7

or alternately you can download this beta version which works for windows 7
