Quake in 3D

Quake is 3D already. I don't get this whole glasses craze. The 3D glasses thing is very old, it was already in comics like Yps and Bussi B�r in the 70s or early 80s when I was a kid. They had these glasses already and some of the comics were in green and red. I always thought it was stupid.

I'm not gonna wear these paper glasses in the cinema. That is maybe cool in Stupidworld, but not in my world.

Imagine sitting in the bus with PSPquake and paper 3D glasses. OMG.

Mass hypnosis. They are selling you old shit that failed back then and claiming it is the new cool thing.

My 3D glasses look like normal sunglasses! Paper is soooo 2010.

^ This. I've tried this a few times w/ the glasses and it looks absolutely horrid. It actually looks more 3D to me without it (+ no headaches).

I have still got the old opengl 3d client if someone wants it.
As i remember it, the best 3d effects were achieved with the wicked gl drivers and a pair of shutter galsses.
They were very expensive, but with a modified powerglove and a bigscreen
the total immersion effect was awesome.

I played something in the arcade a long ass time ago where you wore some big dome of a mask, and you where like right in the game and it was a fps too... just can't remember what the hell the game was called.
