Hello Disco,

I am sorry, I cannot answer all of your questions, but I try.

1.) If you know how to save the content from the console to a file, then this would help:
There are several commands, that display ALL DP commands in the console at once:
- dphelp
- apropos
- cvarlist
Another possibilty for you is to visit this or this or this pages.
They contain also almost all of DP�s commands / cvars ! Even with nice descriptions.

2.) To pause / fast forward / slowmotion there is no better command than this:
- slowmo (default =1) (use "0" for pause; value <1 for slowmotion; value >1 for fastforward)

3.) This is a tricky one
I use a trick to achive it:
Create a fully transparent file and save it as: conchars.tga
Save it in your ID1\gfx folder.
Now all text is invisible.
This is of course just a workaround for your problem.

Hey Disco, I might have a better suggestion for #3.

Try con_notify 0. That will make anything printing in the top left of your screen not be visible.
scr_centertime 0 will hide all centerprint messages as well.

In addition to Seven's #1 option... try doing:

log_file "cvarlist"
then typing cvarlist in the console.

all of those Cvars should be saved into a log file in your id1 folder, or whichever gamedir you're using. Open the file up with wordpad, notepad++, etc.
