DirectQ , MOTD inside Console

in the mod CAx (rage.quakeone.com) , my console gets hammered by MOTD and Current Teams showing , if someone isn't on a team yet it also says repetitively "So and So is holding things up" ...


How can I turn this motd notification riff raff off. I don't recall having to fix it before hand, but I recently deleted config.cfg and autoexec.cfg files, and also re-extracted the last version several times, created new shortcuts. Everything short of deleting quake folder and resinstalling everything was done,so.... and I've been using DirectQ for a minute now.

There's a cvar for that I cant think of it at the momoent vut its like center con print something.

yup, mh is a fan of spamming centerprint messages to the console too, and this is the sort of case where you really don't want such centerprint logging.

Ah, good old centerprint logging. One person wants it on, another wants it off, and I'm stuck in the middle.

It shouldn't log if the previous message is still active at the time the next one comes in, but some QC can screw with this, particularly the kind of abusive QC that has no respect for the player's settings and stuffcmds cvar changes.
