dp flashing (noob thread)

i know that some1 is going to scold me for reviving an old thread or topic...but I'm rllly, rlly in the urge of solving this problem cause im getting pay'd for getting my friend the "quake hd" (u know y I put the quoting marks) so plz understand that this is my first thread and I rlly need to get this issue solved so..

to simplify the issue....when I start single player.....it flashes like fuck.....something kinda similar happened to my tfc while ago....maybe the issue is the same considering goldscr is a modifiedquake engine...anyway...thnx in advance
