      This is what I was able to gather so far! 1.2GB of pure eye candy! LINK!

      I got ~60fps with my HD5750 @ 1440x900! My netbook powered by a E350 couldn't handle more than 9fps @ 1366x768.


      Edit: 1� All material was collected here in the Quakeone's forum
      2� It's a shareware Quake pack, just put your pak1.pak in the id1 folder
      3� Please, give me feedback and tips to make it better!

        my darkplaces quake folder is 3GB big

        could you maybe list all addons you have?

        so i can help you by pointing you to even more eye candy thatll make quake look even more awesome then you already have it now
        .
        are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?

            ah... id advise getting the QRP hi-res textures instead, they look a lot better imo then the one in rygels pack

            and rygels pack is quite outdated, its from 2007. theres lots of better stuff made since then

            like animated ammo-boxes, with blinking and moving lights and such:

            oh, be sure to also try sevens small mod compilation, it adds tons of features which the original quake was missing without changing gameplay at all. doesnt make the game prettier really, but it does make quake lot more awesome.

            also great is the starry teleport made by seven&inkub0 together. like it lot more then the other teleport seven made cuz its more closer to the original

              Thank you very much splitterface! It probably took a lot of your time to make this list and also to reupload some of the files!

              I'll try to compile a new version of the pack and compare the results!

                you're more then welcome, glad to be able to help you make your quake even more better looking

                know it took me ages to find all this stuff, lot of it i found myself by browsing all over the forums, so i know how much work it is to have to find everything yourself.

                im lucky seven helped me find a lot of all i have, without his help i wouldnt have even found half of what i have

                so im glad to help you in your search for all the best stuff for quake

                  I'm returning to Quake/DP/Qrack after being gone for 3 years or so, and the post was extremely helpful in getting me back up to speed.
