NetQuake -> QTV PROXY -> QuakeWorld?

Spike is it possible to use fteqtv to connect and play on a qw server?
There are some qw servers in NorthAmerica that could be fun to play on against qw players at equal pings. just wondered if this was possible more than just them running FTE as the server.

You can use an NQ client to connect to a QTV proxy and then connect to a QW server, yes.
    Use these commands:
    connect $proxy:port
    say .qw $qwserver:port

Note of course that qw consoles assume chat by default, hence why its 'say' rather than something more obvious like 'cmd', because its easier for qw users and for consistancy. Yes the extra dot is important.
I did make a .lib version which can be wired directly in as an alternative to eg the net_wins.c functions of an NQ client, which can connect directly to a qw server without the hassle of setting up an external proxy process.
    See this for instructions:
    SourceForge.net Repository - [fteqw] Contents of /trunk/fteqtv/nq_api.c
    Personally I'd recommend dynamically linking.
If you do find bugs, I should be able to give you commit access to fix them without having to depend on me too much.

I wouldn't mind raping some qw players that think they are good.
