The version of proquake shouldn't matter, so I recommend anything from 3.5 (probably what it was run on,to begin with) upward to the newest proquake server exe found here
Yea,run a dedicated proquake server, something to this effect
you gotta change the 1.1.1.1 to either your WAN ip or LAN ip, thats why you got the error (guessing you did it verbatim, which was -ip 1.1.1.1 ) but seems like you got it running w/o the -ip heheh, glad you got it working!
Hmmmmm, this is the only Q1 command line listings...
I suppose you could just jot down a bunch of questions you have and it would be easier to offer the info you seek, we really really need a netquake wiki. like, bad. I'm ready to start throwing information into it left/right as well o_O
I did use my own ip but I must have inputted a wrong one. No worries though I just am glad I can play against the ai in runequake their fake chats makes me feel like its 1998 all over again xD
And that site you linked there is the jackpot! It answered all my questions, thanks Mindf!3ldzX
np bro, even that website was a bit tough to find haha. 99% of the google search results kept giving me console commands, console commands, and more console commands. ARG!
