I'm looking for some expert help. I want to boot up a single player GLpro game with custom settings/bots designed specifically for me to practice. I've found I benefit a good deal from a quick warmup before I start quaking. I thought about what custom settings i'd like to do, but I'm not sure how to get it launched, it would be kinda complicated. I haven't ran my own custom game of quake for a while. I still have Frogbot Clan Arena, but don't know if it would work with what I have in mind.
What I want to try and do is launch a custom game of CAx, with computer players (bots) to play against, while in 'airshot' mode (which i think is the best way for me to warmup). That's mainly what I want to try and do. I'd rather use the original CA and not CAx but I do want the airshot mode. What I also want is myself and the bots to have max armor and health (200, 999 i believe), but not sure that's possible in CAx. I would want to be able to specify my ping also, I think that's always possible as long as I'm using the GLpro client, but don't know for sure. I also want the default settings (speed, gravity, etc.) any CA+/CAx server would use.
Told you it was complicated
. No idea what the command line would look like. I also wonder what i'll need to download to make this happen. I would guess it's possible to do all of this, but wouldn't bet on it for sure. Hopefully it's easier than I think.
