Hi,
I have downloaded and tried the Quake adapter for Worldcraft 3.3 created by Baker. At home running under Windows 2000 it works fine. However, when I try it on my other machine running Windows XP, the map is compiled but I get the following error in the game (vanilla GLQUAKE 1.09):
IFNOT 4100(?)
CLIENT.QC: SelectSpanwPoint
CLIENT.QC: PutClientInServer
(No function)
Runaway loop error
Host_error: Program error
This happens both with the test map included and with my own map. There is no error or warning message in the log window of WC. The Glquake installation is OK, other maps run w/o error. I also tried Proquake and Zquake, but it does not make any difference.
Previously I used Windows ME and under that OS the map produced was full of HOM errors, unplayable. (Actually, that was the main reason for upgrading to XP.) Has anyone exdperienced similar problems? Any idea how to solve it?
System info:
MSI KT6 Delta MB
Athlon XP3000 CPU
Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti4200 video card
Forceware 84.56 video driver for Win2k/XP
