      With the most commonly used Quakeworld server, mvdsv (like any engine anyone uses, it's a [heavy] mod of the id source), it records demos server-side and offers them for download as a command and you can also make them available for browsing via a web site, if I recall correctly.

        Deathmatch 3 is when the weapons stays after u pick them up so other people
        can have a gun.

          We need deathmatch mode 4, a cross between deathmatch mode 3 and deathmatch mode 1. Maybe something similar to Q3 style weapon pickups.

              (as seen in painkeep mod, and yes i know this requires people to download skins but i figured if you can make automatic mapdownloading work you can make automatic skindownloading work as well )

                I had something like this in an old ctf mod:
                + New deathmatch Mode 3 weapon spawn rules:
                Weapons respawn on map as normal and are removed after each player takes them, though
                if the player already has that weapon then they cannot RETAKE it.
                Weapons respawn at a faster rate of random times between 5 to 10 seconds. DMM3 default was 20.
                It's newbie friendly cause everyone gets a chance to get a weapon, and it screws with the system of "rl spawns at :45" thinking.
                but it creates more scenerios of actual fighting not just moving your chess piece around, and restricts ammo.

                  DMM3 had no respawn time for weapons and 15 second ammo respawn; DMM3 is weapon stay.
                  DMM1 has 30 second weapon respawn and 30 second ammo respawn.

                  I forget what DMM2 is, but it's retarded, something like weapon stay, but all armor/health never respawn once taken.

                    The weaponstay in DMM3 is different than DMM2's weaponstay where you can't pick up the weapon EVER once you already have it.

                        I don't mind DMM2 matches for quick lan games but I think 10 minutes is stretching it's usefulness. I'd say 5 minutes of first 5 frags.
