  • Rquake Team COOP server down!?!?

I knew of these Rquake Team Cooperative servers, and now there are none working. They are all down.

    coop.runequake.com:26003
    flanders.servegame.org:26001
    66.117.216.78:26003
    flanders.quake1.net:26001
    hub.quakeone.com:26004

Does anyone know of a coop server? Also, what happened to coop.runequake.com:26003, and how can I get in touch with Rocketguy (admin)?

    UPDATE - WORKING SERVER LIST:

    thisserversucks.com:26003 (version 1.2.107) (needs update)

    coop.runequake.com:26003 (version 1.2.129)

    qrf.mine.nu:26003 (version 1.2.129)
    *update again:

Rquake team coop looks really sweet using the Darkplaces engine with high texture detail & full lighting. If you have a nice PC + graphics, i suggest you check it out. I know MT & Magnus have good pc's. It makes quake look like gears of war! neat.

    Hi TV

For the first server in your list ORL might be able to point you in the right direction.
Servers 2 and 4 are the same machine. The Admin is Polarite (a member here) and I know he's been having trouble with his server of late. I believe he is repairing it and RQuake along with all the other mods should be back up ASAP. Rocket guy is also a member here so you could always leave him a pm. However, I could be wrong but my understanding is that he is the developer with admin privileges rather than the SysOp/Owner for these servers. For queries on the "hub" you might want to talk nicely to Foqer_tu

If you want to run the mod yourself you could always dl it from here

    Hope this helps

    Monty

I have an experimental coop server up at 67.78.138.105:26003. It is running a slightly older version as I cannot find the one being used on coop.runequake. Even the svn appears to be slightly outdated. If anyone knows where I can find the newest version, let me know!

Flanders.servegame.org:26001 isn't a RQuake Team Coop server anymore.

It was down for a while recently, and just came back up.

Now it's a CRMOD deathmatch server.

          :/

Guess I'll stick with FVF Coop (fvf.servequake.com)...

Yes flanders is still down , if u see it online its not the official flanders server..
It just my friends server "Nomad" I simply have add the dns to it for a while.
I will however setup flanders again , I just need to find some spare time to do it properly.

            On topic:

In the meanwhile u can always play on the RQuake Team Coop server from qrf server.

            qrf.mine.nu:26003

            It has the latest coopmod.
            My servers for the gamers:

ORL hosts the RQuake server and says it'll be back up.

thanks baker, i just noticed you were running the news for rquake when it came out. THanks man!

Any word on the 1.2.130 final or 1.3.000 final versions?

Also if anyone has the 1.2.129 version, please send to me or Evade so he can replace it on his server. He's running 1.1.107

No idea but if I find out anything I'll let you know.

You might consider private messaging ORL and see if he'd give you a copy.

Option #2 would be compiling from:

                      http://quakeone.com/forums/quake-hel...ng-rquake.html

If the SVN was kept up-to-date that should compile to the current version and compiling a progs.dat isn't that hard. You put FTEQCC in the QuakeC source folder (a bunch of .qc files) and then you double-click FTEQCCGUI (GUI = graphical user interface) and click compile. It creates a progs.dat. See other thread for details.

If you try to compile yourself, you'd click "download tarball" and unzip it somewhere using WinRAR.

The latest SVN version is 1.2.127. While I am able to compile to compile the progs.dat without issue, it is crashing for me in game when almost any event happens (using wqpro-r). I don't want to spend too much time troubleshooting 1.2.127 when more recent versions are available.

I'll mess with it and solve it sometime tonight and post a link to the progs.dat and whatever wqpro will run it properly.

                            It's RQuake 1.2

                            http://www.quake-1.com/rquake-dist/r...server-1.2.zip

I tested the wqpro-r.exe and the progs.dat; they play nice together.

I know you wanted a later version, I can't get the SVN one to compile for some reason.

/I notice the RQuake server is back up.
