I was thinking Xinput game needs DInput, which is backwards...... Sorry again, haha. Getting PC gaming to work correctly with ANY controller is a pain in the ass,and eventually leads to mish mashes of failed IIRC moments.

Pinnacle Game Profiler - Fix controller problems and add gamepad support for any game instantly!

On the plus side, it does everything you want.
On the minus side, it costs money.

If you know what the jolly roger implies.....
    Yeah. lol. I thought so!

Romero was a joystick fan. Let's see you call him a "newb" and be able to hold on to your testicles while doing so, eh?

I am a huuuuuuge fan of controllers. My son and I regularly play games on the PC with controllers, its just most games require tons of gimmicks or tricks to get them to work appropriately. Most game publishers/makers don't take "Gamepads" or "Controllers" seriously on the PC. Of course,I also believe in Mouse = First Person Shooter, and there is no substitute. Rare exceptions are probably Romero/Polarite/EzJack(he uses KB,same thing practically) and every Halo player.

I shining example of a game company caring about controller support would be CAPCOM. I've had nothing but awesome support for controllers on the PC with them.

Street Fighter 4 especially. It's awesome to support "2 Player" + "One PC" on the computer. It really makes US as a gaming platform SHINE!

I wait for the day when game makers take controllers on the PC seriously, and start offering of splitscreen or sharedscreen gaming more often, also the ability to split the screen [ | ] this way is paramount, because most multi desktops are arranged like this, which means each player has their own monitor or ccreen !!!
