How does the Quake HUD face work? I need to know because I plan to use it for something, and want it to resemble the way it behaves in Quake.

Alright, I understand that much already. I guess my real concern is about the "Pain" faces and the Invulnerable faces. I've never seen the Invulnerable faces in game (maybe I have but never noticed), and there's 2 of them in the WAD. The pain faces, well I've seen them in game when the player gets hit, but in game they look way more animated then just being 1 frame. The god mode frames, why are there 2 of them?
syluxman2803, I'm not going Q3 at all, this is for a project using the Wolfenstein 3d engine. The HUD face in Wolfenstein is very different then Quakes.
