I use the "NEW Lite" version of the SMC from the ATTACUE. And I like it. Everything is very compact and nothing more.

while you are at it, why not make a 'super-awesome feature-less quake' without anything at all, and just give people the original standard quake progs.dat?
instead of ripping out every feature, why not just give them feature-less quake and call it "epic super-quake"!

Да, я сожалею о том, что назвал "SMC_fixed", надо было назвать "SMC_lite" или "smallest small mod compilation" ну или еще как нибудь, я не знаю.
А получается так - терминологией ошибся и все - расстрел, смерть мне, да?
Я объясню - почему fixed. Дело в том, что я удалял ненужное, но работа мне так таковому не пренадлежит, потому что над SMC работали Seven, Webangel, и другие.
Я просто удалял на мой взгляд лишнее. Если бы это делал Seven, то да. Тут не поспоришь! Тут как положено - "lite" и "full" в первом сообщении.
Когда я говорил Seven'у, что "small mod compilation" превратился в "big mod compilation", и что нужно делать версию меньше, он мне ответил - отключи ненужные функции через autoexec и читай readme. Это все хорошо, кроме одного - autoexec.cfg становится размером с простыню. Того же паука можно было добавить как внешний мод, без добавления в SMC, то же самое можно было бы поступить с зомби, собакой и топором. Или как альтернатива - full version и lite version. Я стал искать альтернативные методы решения. Пробовал версию SMC 3.8 xolveedited - почти идеал, правда многого не хватало. В версии 4.25 мне понравился slowmotion, эффекты убийства монстров с разных видов оружия и звуки шагов для всех монстров. Да, пришлось осваивать код и редактировать его методом проб и ошибок, убирая ненужное, оставляя все необходимое. Попросил помощи у Seven'а, чтобы проверил код - вдруг что неправильно, может что-то недоудалил или удалил больше, чем мне надо. А тут посыпались гневные сообщения, типа - это дерьмо и так далее.
Пословица есть - не делай добра, не получишь и зла.
Ну хорошо, впредь сам и без чьей-либо помощи справлюсь, освоюсь, захочу - добьюсь своего.
P.S.
В моем представлении:
Full и Lite - исключительно за автором. (Я не автор! Автор - Seven и другие)
Edited - добавлен новый функционал или расширен старый.
Fixed - удалено/исправлено.
Как видите - то что сделал я попало под третью категорию и в этом-то вся и проблема...Другие-то думают иначе...

И все это отлично прослушивается на "Sennheiser HD 215 II" c 12 - 22000 Гц.
Я молчу про "Roland RH-300" с 10 - 25000 Гц!
Тогда скажите мне - почему файлы с музыкой качают и статистика скачивания уже 76 скачавших, с учетом новых скачавших? Выходит не один только я люблю качественную музыку!
Ради этого я готов держать лишние 500G на HDD музыку в flac/wav и редко в mp3 (если трек в flac/wav не существует).
