This is a set of textures that can be used in mapping using the Quake map format. Since Nexuiz uses the Quake 3 map format and can have long filenames and doesn't use the Quake palette, this was a bit time consuming.

Nexuiz is GPL, these textures are GPL so any map they are used in has to be GPL.
(For those that don't know, the GPL is an open source license. The Quake engine is GPL and id Software re-released all the QuakeC game logic as GPL in 2000 and in 2006 Romero released the Quake map sources as GPL.).
Download includes Quake WAD2 format and Half-Life WAD3 format versions. Quake uses the Quake palette, the HL WAD3 version uses an independent 256 color palette per texture.
The idea of GPL maps doesn't go very far without a GPL texture set and making texture sets is a ton of work. This is a start.
