To each their own.
This is a example of why I'd love to see some RESKINS. We all have different likes. I prefer QRP's normals with a reduced effect (done by console) and to me it looks great.
Seems like one of the most popular elements (skinning) in early game modding has died. We have some nice models out there by various users - however next to no reskins of them. It'd be nice to see that make a return.

i like QRP normals in general, but i noticed that glitch about windows, that arent like real ones... maybe QRP people can do a new version of normals according to users feedbacks like this... until that, somebody can create a patch for stained windows! =)
