    hi

    ive been working on and editing dpmod ever since i tried it

    this mod is very deep and had alot of new content to offer


    it has top tier weapons that really add to the gameplay.


    for me to merge doom3 id style weapons into quake 1 actually blends nicely.

    this mod includes doom plasma and bfg and a enforcer laser shotgun

    mouse3 has some additional weapons like sticky grenades


    the default config is lord havocs.

    it also has health regeneration

    footsteps, sticky nails, gibs, rain...ive added Sevens nice rain sounds.

    im going to upload my dpmod progs.dat...this fixes a couple of issues ive had with dpmod, like never ending shell casings causing me perfromance problems.

    That is Doom3's plasma gun.. Your dpmod will include it?

            Seanstar,

            you modded your Quake weapons quite much.
            Nice shader and model effects there. Also zooming effect is good.

            I know you like it very Doomish in your Quake.

            By the way:
            You dont need dpmod itself to have all the things as they are in your clips.
            Now that you learn qc editing, you will surely notice it too.

                "r_motionblur_vmax" "200"
                "r_motionblur_vmin" "75"

                i added a vore trail to the plasmaball and it looks sick...thanks for the tip danio you got me thinking about it.

                i know i can add these things in without dpmod, why make my own mod that uses all content from dpmod? when i could just edit out the couple things i dont like in dpmod, like never ending shell casings and a supernailgun model used to shoot plasma.
                i noticed your mod uses alot of content thats in dpmod.

                i made a zoom script for mega team fortress years ago and this is the same thing.

                i use three keys it out and return
                bind "MWHEELUP" "fov 10;sensitivity 1;play scope.wav"
                bind "MWHEELDOWN" "fov 30;sensitivity 3;play scope.wav"
                bind / "fov 90;sensitivity 5;play scope.wav"

                          Hang on, I'm in the middle of something and I'll send you my DP functions for fire, the ones you saw in those videos. I'm moving as fast as I can. Lots of clients' work.

                            Hello Chip,

                            please feel free and post your "effectinfo.txt" effects in public,
                            so that everyone can benefit from it.

                            It would be nice of you if you use the thread, that was created for just this reason: here

                            Many people were kind enough to contributed their effects there already.

                            So users who are interested, can handpick the ones they like and build their own effectinfo.txt.

                            I know that you already contributed your fire effect at inside3d.com.
                            I saw that thread some time ago as well: here.

                              Oh, I see. I forgot about that thread. I only shared the effectinfo.txt there, but, in addition to that, there are some misc_model functions, plugged into Kleshik. That's why I didn't share those, took some time to adapt them to dpmod. But I'll do it.
