          This looks great from highs places, everything in building is maiden well, so I wait for the final download

          BTW-OT, I do drink 2-5 coffee when I work and even enjoy on my mapping, about the cigarettes...

            i just found a "stange" problem:

            In Nazi Zombies Portable (Darkplaces based) all maps are looking fine,
            but in normal Darkplaces the lightmaps seems to be messed up...

            EDIT: looks like this and this is annoying...

                Some new pics, but not an update "directly":

                I just added some stuff from RenegadeC�s Envenom Quakemod like
                the camera triggers
                the game feels now almost like Resident Evil

                But there are 2 bad bugs:

                - If you save and load a game the camera is messed up
                - You cant walk upstairs -.-

                I had plans to use the Envenom SRC for my mod, but the bugs make it almost impossible...

                  i have an idea how you could solve the not being to just walk up stairs issue
                  try adding an invisible angled block over the steps of the stairs. itll allow you to smoothly walk up the stairs but you wont notice its there cuz its invisible

                  like so:


                  thats how i always solve it in other games, using an invisible block which you actually walk on instead of the stairs allows the player to walk smoothly up the stairs

                  its imo the easiest and best way to solve stair-walking in games

                    Already did it on the stairs, but the player is still not walking upstairs...
                    this is annoying and i didnt found a solution...

                    Maybe the QC code is messed up...

                      cameras has many bugs, try using csqc cameras
                      the invasion has begun! hide your children, grab the guns, and pack sandwiches.

                        Stairsproblem fixed now, it was just a small issue in client.qc ...
                        And i also fixed the stairhall it looks now more like the one from RE2

                            Well, the guns are just kinda "placeholders" because i am not 100% sure about the "final" game:

                            Ego shooter or third person? What do you want more?

                                i vote 3rd person view, to keep the RE spirit in the game.

                                it wouldnt feel very much resident evil with 1st person view,
                                since that 3rd person cam is so typical for all games in the RE series
