      Nice ADD seven! i love the way the fire looks in the smc! You must teach me the way of your fire so i can add it to different qc also!

      and some one get this man a computer so he can keep on his work.

            Very thanks for the help Seven, this greatly improves the mod and will be of course added in the pack. I think in these days I'll release an update with your stuff and the HD stuff made by Talisa

                Oh the link now works with Firefox, Opera didn't show the proper link. Tomorrow I'll test it. I'm almost done with the HD pack and Talisa is doing really excellent models, skins and improvements. Long life Tronyn, long life Soul of Evil

                  also absolutely, tronyn makes brilliant maps

                  dun forget also: long live patrick martin! thats the guy who did the QC for both soe & nsoe
                  and he made the drake-mod which is used for a lot of tronyn's maps (including Nsoe) <3

                  and a lot of things from soe later got merged into the drake-mod
                  .
                  are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?

                    Tested the fire effects and looks very good in Soul of Evil. Great stuff Seven, very thanks. I've tested some maps again some hours ago and I've made a todo list, tomorrow I'll post it, now I'm too tired to write and I have to sleep

                        just an fyi i played soe2 all the way with the tweeked qc done by seven it worked with out a flaw and added a lot to the game visuals

                          There are a lot of "Drake" discussions going on in this forum in various threads at the moment.
                          I took the Drake-beta source from june 2011 (which is as far as I know the latest available) and added particle flames in it.

                          I tested it with these maps / episodes:
                          - Arcanum
                          - Unforgiven
                          - Something Wicked This Way Comes
                          - Nyarlathotep







                          Drake maps also use a lot of candles (from Rogue) many times.
                          So I thought it would maybe also be a good idea to add the particle candles into Drake.

                          It is not difficult. Most difficult was, to find where Patrick has hidden the spawn functions for the flames and candles As he has rewritten / restructured most of the original QuakeC functions. So it somehow doesnt "feel like home" when reading his code.
                          But once you found it and detected his new functions, it is more or less a copy / paste from SMC.
                          The source is included (also the original files), so you can better see the difference when using a tool like "beyond compare".

                            thanx a lot seven for adding the particle flames to the drake source QC

                            always loved your particle-flames, they look so much nicer then the ugly original flame
                            so its great to now be able to have them in drake too
                            .

                              Thanks seven! Did you add some things to make the gravity work right in the maps? that why i thought we kept getting new progs data with some of the maps... i played Unforgiven map 3 a few weeks back and remembered that you get a little bit more jump on that map. cant wate to try this out! if you guys haven't try Nyarlathotep in third person all the jumping is kinda fun that way but its hard to tell what gun you have.
