I apologize if this is a double-post. (Please note that I had some technical difficulties earlier.) Anyways, my favorite team happens to be the Lakers, but they did not make the playoffs. Now I'm rooting for the Clippers. They're going up against OKC. Thunder is a very hard team to beat, but the Clippers' defense can slow down Kevin Durant.

      Hey Dave,

you can catch me on the Raps board on Realgm, I'm always posting there haha

Yeah that was a crazy series I was waking up at 7 am watching it half asleep and still cheering my ass off.. the officiating was fucking absurd. Sure, the freethrows looked similar, but they don't tell the tale. We had Ross/Amir/Lowry/Vasquez with 2 fouls in the 1st Q alone, there is no way you can play aggressive defense from that point on, so it pretty much set the tone for their team (Joe Johnson) to go to work.

I have no idea how there was no foul called on Lowry on the final play on "Pierce's block" (people claim he blocked but followed through so it wasnt a foul), also the bs with Lowry not getting a charge call on Deron, and then on the other end DeRozan hits an and1 and gets called legitimately for a charge on the ensuing play, but where the fuck is the consistency? Then they switch the 6th foul on Deron to KG so Deron can stay in the game.. I mean you want to talk about some serious bias..

This year the playoffs have probably been the best ever.. the first round alone had more overtimes than I've ever seen.

Check this out, I wrote this back on March 12th.. I must be able to read the future!

To be honest the Grizz defense just matched up better with Durant because Allen is such an aggressive perimeter defender with good instincts/hands/lateral movement/strength/anticipation. He's the best perimeter defender in the league imo, and he totally slowed Durant down. The combination of Crawford/Dudley/Redick/Barnes doesn't scream all-first defense.. Barnes is the best of the bunch and he still isn't nearly as good as Allen/James Johnson in terms of stopping his own man, let alone someone as good as KD. In general, OKC is a good match for the Clippers, and will likely take the series, especially with the way Westbrook/Durant are playing at the moment.

Spurs are the scariest of the bunch because they are just so well run offensively, and unless BKN makes a come back in the Miami series, we're likely looking at a repeat of last year's finals with Spurs/Heat, or OKC/Heat, unless Indiana has truly found their groove again (destroyed Washington the other night).
