    Happy Independence day to all!

Nothing make's me extremely pissed off then someone saying "Happy 4TH of July". Today is a great day to celebrate the declaration of independence and our freedom's our forefather's fought for the now defunct Kingdom of Great Britain (now known as United Kingdom).

Respect our Freedom's, Right's and Constitution and most of all Enjoy the day and be safe lighting off the boom rockets!

I was looking for the Star Spangled Banner being preformed on electric guitar, because well, thats pretty fucking american bro, then I stumbled across this cute 7 year old fella preforming our national anthem on just that, the electric guitar.

And, because Quakeone.com's front page wouldn't quite look right with this image, but I enjoyed the image enough in my browsing I'ma share it here.

I celebrated Independance day by going to work and feeding a bunch of foreigners. They celebrated Independance Day by eating my food and tipping me heavily. I now have enough money to be independant for yet another day, maybe two...lol.

That is a-okay man. I started working at age 14, worked every holiday, christmas, thanksgiving, new years, valentines, memorial day, and etc until i decided to own my own trucking business. I chose to work certain holiday's. Last year i worked through Christmas and celebrated Christmas on New Year's.
It's life brother and we have to do it. I would have worked through this day also if it did not fall on my normal time off. Glad you made some money to yet provide yourself another day or as you said two.

I only work 4 days a week so I don't sweat working holidays. Tips plus pay I pulled 2 bills today... not too shabby for being a cook in a dive. Not to mention I only worked 6 hours. Who knew you could make 34 bucks an hour frying shrimp and oysters and talking to incredibly hot foreign women.

Good money for 6 hours no doubt. That's more then i make per hour. Since i am a professional truck driver i am exempt from overtime wages etc. Luckily i am with a great company who pay's most of their driver's a salary. I make $23.205 per hour (.205 = 20 1/2 cents) not sure why it is like that but it's how they break my pay down for hourly rate. I get $23.205 @ 60 hours a week (no overtime as said above) comes to $1392.30 per week. I do not know of any company driver's who make more then $65,000 per year off hand. I know there are some out there who do but it's rare to find. Trucker's avg $52,000 a year which is a comfortable living. Now if you can maintain that $20.00 + per hour you will be set.

I make about 35k but I don't have a lot of bills. I built my house and pay nothing to live in it. My electeicity is 3 phase and cheap. Car insurance is a little steep and my internet isnt very cheap either but I generally make all my bills in 3 days.

People keep giving me money to do other stuff too which I didn't add in that 35k. I made 400 in one day last month doing a move. I give a sizable amount away though, to people living under bridges and friends in need. Actually, it seems like the more I give away, the more I get. Right before I got that move job I gave some bum 52 bucks... every dime I had on me. This guy didn't even own a pair of shoes. I almost gave him my shoes. I like my shoes though so I gave him all my money instead.

I like the whole giving away money and even shoes thing, I see a lot of my friends posting this stuff on FaceBook and i enjoy seeing it. I'm all for it. However I have been burnt once to many times by friends and family and i refuse to give money to anyone. I don't put everyone in the same category, but however i am married, i have a child and i work extremely hard for my money. I gave away a $6,000 car for free to my parents and still til this day when something goes wrong with it my dad call's me telling me about the issue like i am suppose to fix it. Fuck that, i gave you a car it's in your name and now anything wrong with it is on you. When i had it nothing was wrong with it and it was well maintained. I haul donuts, bagels, breads, pastries and such, when i get extra stuff i do give these away to homeless people when i see them at truck stops, or i donate them to the local homeless shelter here in my home town. During thank's giving i donated 62 loaf's of bread, 14 boxes of bagels, & 20 boxes of donuts. They really thanked me for it and said it was the biggest donation they received this year food wise. As for money, no can do. Think about how many time's you give a homeless person money and they walk to the store and buy a beer and a pack of smokes. Do they need it? That's on them. I would rather take it and buy some food. Glad you are helping out the needy, we need more people like you and i strongly wish i could do the same but as explained above i have done my share in the past and those day's are far over.

Depends on what part of the world you live in. West Coaster's are still partying it up.
