Pissing off RuneQuaker's?

I found an extremely easy way to deliberately piss off some RuneQuaker's.
The object of the game is to basically use whatever rune you have to your ability to help you win the game right? If i grab the "pack rat" rune and gobble up all the rune's that is my ability to win the game right? WELL NO, not in the eye's of a select few. I connected > immediately picked up the first rune i seen > was the pack rat > i ran around killed everyone i could and collected all 16 rune's if at least that is all i could find. Now the game was pretty much ' runeless ' and it was all in my favor, i did not have to worry about death traps, ice traps, tornado crap, someone with strength rune, death orb and so on. Now i turned shmack into a regular ffany.quakeone.com server with only weapons available. after 35 frag's i get a few who leave and a few who bitch and moan that i have all the rune's and the game is now ' unfair ' because they can't kill me. Anyway, if this pisses you off i will gladly do it more often as the rune is now my favorite and i will use it to my benefit every time i log into shmack which is very very rare.

P.S. this is NOT a rant therefore it is in the correct forum topic. :}

LOL. Good job. I guess if the majority considers that an exploit, they'll have to nerf the pack rat rune.

The best thing is to get Pack Rat, collect all the runes, and then go hide so everyone has to play without runes.

Also, zombie barricades in spawn zones with only one exit are always fun to do.

Pack Rat Rune ; Gotta Collect 'em All !

Sole, I prefer 1 teleportal + 1 exit coupled with Rune of Telefrag Deflect! looool

Start map , Quad room , then spam your "Im @ %Location" bind so they all come running to kill you

E1M7 Pent room , same song and dance! haha.

I don't have the bind's setup to drop them or use them lol. Usually i never even attempt to use rune's since i am not accustomed to it.

Waiting for that day, show up and the rune has been replaced or totally taken off server ;] I'll try it again eventually just because i know this get's under their skin. It's part of the game so i might as well use it to my advantage ;]

I will try the zombie thing one day and see how it works. I have tried the shambler before but he likes to move to much lol

Zombie walls are good on e2m3 by the start elevator and at the start of e4m4.

You can kill zombies by knocking then down, standing on them and not letting then get back up. After a few tries, they simply fall apart. It's fun to confuse people by doing that.

When you do that, a message comes up on the screen of the zombie rune's holder that says something like "The Gods killed your zombie."

This is all listed in my Runequake and You guide. Another fun fact, you can shoot through your own zombies with your shotguns, including the Magic Shotgun.
