Technical issue - WTF

OK, I was going to load a DesertCombat (a modern-day era mod for battlefield 1942) on Multiplayer, and it says failed to connect to server. Afterwards, I try another server. Still nothing. I try fireing up SP and in the middle of the map loading and it says memory error. Quake maps won't load and it displays a very odd error in the console. I took a screenshot and uploaded it it image shack, but after I uploaded nothing was displayed so I have no idea of the link to it. Just about the only thing that works is windows and firefox. I don't use IE. I use Firefox. I don't go to crack sites. I don't go to pron sites. I did not reboot my computer for fear of a virus. This happened out of the blue, no events of significance happened before the problem stated above.

A fresh Windows install can be infected the first 10 seconds of being connected to the internet. Just from being connected.

I realize I have a system restore event before this problem, if BitDefender doesn't do it, I'll try that next.

I was able to load a regular battlefield 1942 map.
I need to install DesertCombat and see what's happenin.
I was able to play fvf, and I was able to connect to the hub with RQuake (I'm sure I played RQuake in SP before, but I replaced some autoexec's... *.*)

"A decompression error has been detected"
WTF?
edit: I looked in ea games folder to delete it after uninstalling bf1942 because it said size was 4 gigs. The decompression error was probally because the file was already there.

Here's my proposal:
Imageshack picked a bad time to F0Q up.
I F0Q'd battlefield by enabiling hardware acceleratiom (later disabled but still didn't work)
You cant play RQuake in SinglePlayer unless you use the rquake-singleplayer mod.

Well I reinstalled Quake, and its working GRRRRRRRRRRRREAT! So everything on my end is fine --- only problem is that imageshack is being gey.
