      Alot of people prefer the CRT over a flatscreen because of the viewing angle...its also pretty durable compared to a flat screen....harder to break the glass. Drawback is physical weight and power consumption.

      Interesting factoid is now that there are more flatscreens out there drawing less power from the grid, the electric rates have not got any lower

        I can see why, I actually came across a CRT thread on Retro Gaming: /vr/ - /vr/ CRT THREAD. Some pretty cool monitors.

        Yeah, I broke my 1920x1080 monitor because I was leaning on it when I was putting the cables it. Gave it a white spot which turned to a huge as fuck grey spot when I left it off, so I took that in for "repairing."

          woulda been like "sure its my fault,if plugging in a fucking power cord can cause this cluster fuck of failure.....YOU GOT ME!" haha..
