This year my teenage kids and I are going to carve out a jack o lantern, we was in walmart the other day. I looked at my daughter and was like...


"You know what I miss the most about Halloween? Carving pumpkins!" and then she's like, walk with me daddy. We went and picked one out. Apparently designations are like this..


Daughter will stencil out the design (she said Jack Skeleton most likely)
Son will gut the pumpkin of all its innards
I get the knife for carving, OH YEAH. GIVING THE BIG KID THE BLADE. Nothing can go wrong!

10minutes later / 911 whats your emergency / cut my fucking finger off trying to carve jack o lantern. This is some real SAW looking shit, please hurry. I have the finger dangling by skin plz send reattachment kit ASAP.

Little much you think? Im still carving my pumpkin next weekend when i get home, only difference is i bought an actual pumpkin carving kit so i dont need to think about 9-1-1. Anyway Im sure mark would love to pew pew pew with you and candy, Its his style. ROFL

Use a jigsaw. It�s a lot easier and there isn't a way to slip and cut yourself. You can get a jigsaw for approx 30 bucks at Harbor Freight. Alternately, Dremel has some bits that would work well for pumpkin carving but, a Dremel and bits will be pricey.

Will probably just use serrated knife, still havent unpacked everything. Dremel sounds like a good idea, I could use the drywall bit probably rather nicely!
