No offense, but I have to be completely honest... That type of discussion never made sense. (Back in my days, many geeks took part in the discussion.) How could you compare three things that have nothing in common? I could think of a million examples, but just for amusement, I will post two examples... "Apple vs. Banana vs. Orange... Which one is the best?" "Potato vs. Carrot vs. Spinach... Which one is the best?" I'm not dissing anyone. I'm just very confused here...

All three was gaming consoles.
All three had controllers
All three was privy to many good games across all three consoles (CoD series,example)
All three without reservation spawned arguments of which console was better.
All three systems respectively received games from SEGA's mascot, Sonic.

It may seem a bit outlandish for Google to understand anything in any capacity but from what I'm gathering Google understands infinitely more than you'd give credit to. Google is your friend, get cozy with 'em.

This is a argument that will go for as long as there is a game console. The argument lies really between the Sony Playstation and The Microsoft XBOX. The Nintendo systems let's just face it are nowhere near the capabilities of it's two rivals. The Difference between the XBOX and PS3 are processing power and that is it. People say one or the other has smoother or better graphics which are complete system lover BS. The graphics are the same down to the very last pixel. The original XBOX beat the PS2 with better loading time as the PS3 beat the XBOX360 with Bluray disc and processing power. Either way if it works then that is all that matters.

The GameCube is far more powerful than the PS2, the N64 is far more powerful than the PS1 and the Saturn, and the SNES has more advanced visual effects & sound sampling than the Genesis. It's only in the last two generations that Nintendo decided to not care about raw computing power.

Which one had the better games is the question. Graphics are nice and all, but I still play quake over most games. If it's fun, and only offered on one console, then that console will be the best. Ps3 didn't have gears of war, so I went with Xbox.

Another example would be Gameboy vs Gamegear. Gameboy was monochrome , no backlight. Gamegear had color display,backlight for playing at night time. If based on graphics alone, it was a clear win for the Gamegear.

The very instance you mention battery life though, Gameboy put a major smack down on Gamegear.
