  • Why has music become weaker?

Back in my days, musicians would say whatever the f**k they wanted on the radio and they wouldn't care what the critics thought. My how times have changed... Nowadays musicians act like a bunch of good little sheep on television. Music has become p*ssified... What happened to the old Marilyn Manson? What happened to the old Kid Rock? Sometimes I can be a very opinionated person, but anyways, I'll go back to getting stoned... KiDdInG

Blame the FCC for imposing fines for using vulgar language on tv/radio etc. Too much government and not enough WE THE PEOPLE.

I would like to add a point to this discussion... I should have mentioned this earlier... I might sound like Captain Obvious, but I think that all musicians are nice people in real life. Their lyrics do not reflect their real-life characters. But society needs music with vulgar words. Why? It's the same reason to why society needs violent video games. To escape the norm. Art is all about freedom of expression and originality. When I look at a piece of art, I prefer to escape the norm.

You can easily hook up sirius or xm radio and get all the shit talk you want and music too for a small token of less then 15$ a month. I can guarantee you that station gets fined for any vulgar language regulated by the FCC.
