I've decided to add my first non-quake story to my website's collection.
This story was actually my final exam for an elective class I took on the Horror Genre. We had to write a paper/story based on our major. At the time I was still an Education major (I've switched to IT now), so mine is about a school in the middle of Nevada.
I don't want to spoil anything if you're interested in reading it, but basically there are two versions of this story:
The Original Version was my first attempt at the story. Nothing is left out of the story from what I wanted to include. Unfortunately, I wrote too much....about two pages too long for my exam's requirements.
How that happened is that I didn't have the program already set on "double-spaced", so I just kept writing until I got to the 'required' amount of pages.
So I e-mailed my professor and she said that I need to edit out enough to where it meets the requirement, and thus, the Final Version was created. In fact, those that read both say the edits make this version better of the two.
And I did pass the class (I believe I made either an A or a B on the exam).
Anyway, I've released my first horror story, Igzo-Zanghard as part of my Quake Story series. If you decide to read it, I hope you enjoy it.
