Anyone here still use irc / chat ?
I setup a irc server over the weekend on a spare Freebsd box im running.
Unrealircd with services @ wtfguy.net standard 6667 port.

I have not used IRC in years. I think I signed on once back in 2012-2013 and noticed about 10 people hanging in the quakeone channel so I left and deleted mIRC

I guess i like it because its light weight -vs- browser based.
any old computer can use it, even old 486 class pc's
