Triple A companies need to stop piggy backing off of the names of good classic games to increase their cash flow.

Truth, It's not Quake. Won't get my money. I never even bought Quake 4. I tried it on someone's PC and disapproved of it immediately.

I was watching the conference live on twitch when this first got shown and I got that shiver of... maybe, just maybe they are going to do a Quake remaster.
Or even better, a Quake reboot done by someone like the Wolf New Order guys but...
Alas, it was not to be.

At best it is a Q3A reboot, at worst, a brand cash in.

ArenaFPS is on the rise, games like unreal tourney, quakelive, cs:go, overwatch etc this is just bethesda jumping on the bandwagon; it is a modernized QuakeLive.

If anything, Doom just clarified they know what singleplayer campaigns ARE. Now, to move the immovable torwards including one?
