        @Ratt

        We have a local band here called Ratt Poison
        https://www.facebook.com/Ratt-Poison-192349675011/

        They're not bad if you like that stuff. It's 100% cover tunes. Personally, I like my music really heavy. I don't hate 80's glam metal. I just don't really like it. As a kid I listened to plenty Def Leopard, Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue, Kiss... as I got older I started finding it really boring and traded my jean jacket for a leather one, my mullet for a mohawk (figuratively). However, ironically I love 80's pop... I don't know what to tell ya about that it's just true and it's pretty much always been true no matter how "metal" I've ever been. I even have a pandora station built on Slayer, Michael Jackson, Pantera, Duran Duran, Lamb of God, Madonna...it's all fucked up.

        I noticed that I've never seen a single person here (@ Quakeone not just this thread) mention Melvins.

        skip first minute...just noise mostly.

          Flock of seagulls all day, baby! I guess the cars fit in here as well...one of my favorites.

          But yeah, back to metal:

          Ok never mind...embedding videos on a phone is more trouble than it's worth. Hope a link is good enough.

                Yaaah, King Buzzo and his improbable hair! Huge influence to Kurdt Cobain.

                @80's pop Yeah, Duran Duran! Wild Boys and its crazy video directed by Russell Mulcahy. My fav was The Chauffeur. I was more into things like Ultravox, Japan, U2, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode, Talk Talk, Tears For Fears and of course The Cure. I loved Kate Bush too. Dum-dugudum, dugudugudugudum, dugudum-dugudum, dugudugudugudum... Madonna, it was my hormones who liked her rather than my ears. And speaking of MJ:
                [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0uWF-37DAM"]This is pure awesomeness[/ame]
                A little OT but whatever, it's too good. I'm a huge fan of this guy and the first time I heard his version I was floored.

                @Dutch (and Adam) You only need to replace https://m with http://www and your vids will embed just fine.

                Anyway, back on topic:

                  @Testament - I have loved testament, forever
                  @Chris Cornell/Billie Jean - worst shit I've ever heard in my life. Maybe I'm just not being open-minded or summin but, that was garbage IMO. He should have done smooth criminal. I can imagine CC singing "You've been hit by, You've been struck by..." and that would be pretty damn good.

                    Well it's a matter of taste, I guess. I just love his voice and ever since I first discovered Led Zeppelin, I like this kind of hard-blues stuff.

                        all I did was remove the "s" and everything including and after "&"

                        you can pretty much look at all the shit at the end of the link as an object

                        watch.v = vEIaE1hZnSk
                        watch.feature = youtu.be

                        where "?" opens/starts the object and "&" is the next field of the object.
