Ok so I'm running Opera 9 and running Gaim in the background. Opera was taking up 200,000 mem usage 0_o I blame it entirely on Sole's autoupdate on "who's online" section of the arcade. I blame that because I want to blame SOMETHING.

I was playing RaidenX and it was laggy as hell after the first level. Opera kept loading and some parts just took forever to get by. Then this happened...



Anyone else having this happen when they play RaidenX?

ps - it took like 1-2 minutes to submit my score.

Sole. When ur playing an arcade game, does the site refresh the user's online list? And if so, stop that? The refreshing is killing me

Does it only happen in Opera? Anyone else having this issue?

Apparently the arcade refreshes the leaderboard automatically every X minutes or whatever. I can only surmise that is what is causing the memory leak. However I have not encountered it in IE7. Haven't tried with Firefox yet.

Other issue with Arcade - the Leaderboard does not function properly. If you notice the Leaderboard scores are wrong, it's because they are. Don't panic, if I manually update the Leaderboard it shows all the correct scores. I'm trying to find out where in the code it is fsucking up and causing the board to display wrong data.

That is the "you aren't logged in message". I mentioned that to Sole in the site upgrade thread ... kind of a confusing and un-user-friendly message. Just make sure you are logged in.
