Bank , for a guy nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter" it would be predictable for him to have been attacked by a Croc and killed, thats what he specialized in.Ray's arent aggressive when compared to a Croc.. Damn dude I was just making point, dont let your panties get all twisted.

Any dangerous animal you mess around with will kill you at any opportunity. Defense mechanism, karma, whatever you want to call it.

He did it for a living, and it's sad to see that it caught up with him.

How you can mock a dead man is beyond me.

yah but being impaled by a Ray is a freak accident , I bet it never crossed his mind he would lose his life to a ray, but I bet everytime he went Croc hunting or tended to his Croc's at the Zoo he knew his ass might get had

I have to agree with the Mindz. The Croc Hunter being killed by a Croc would have been something "expected", being killed by spindly sea creature that according to Wikipedia has only killed one other Australian in 30 years is rather bizarre.

The other night when I heard about it, there were people ingame saying things like" God Bless Steve Erwin". I was like, "Great, more idiots starting useless spam like usual.".

WoW is famous for morons spamming stuff about Chuck Norris and Vin Diesel. I mean the dumbest things you could imagine. I thought it was one of those things taking place with yet another celeb. I told a friend of mine that was playing WoW in the same room with me that, "What's the big deal?". He told me that it was true and he died from it. I was shocked saying, "Are you kidding me?".

He was good. Sorry to see him go out like that.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

It just amazes me though.. This man can handle a baby right up to a croc.. and MJ gets chastized for holding a baby over a rail. Not that I'm all for MJ.. One hazard was just as great as the other but this one was cute? Maybe it's just a gender thing.. So put Britney and MJ in the same boat. What a croc of crap!!! Pun intended! I feel for the kids and put their dad right up there with Cousteau, lacking the inventions of course. ;Þ

Why be preoccupied with something not well thought out the man did a few years ago?

                          Everyone does dumb things.

How is that any worse than all the dumb and idiotic things people do like not take their kids to the doctor, leaving their kid in the car when they shouldn't or all of the other zillion things most people do (but shouldn't) that occasionally endanger a child like all the foos that don't make their kids wear seatbelts or those foos that smoke in their car with the windows up with their kids inside.

A lot of people do dumb things and there are a lot of idiots in this world, but this guy's single lapse of judgment shouldn't overshadow all the good he's done.

Is that the best you can do?

yea, I was wanting to ask Monster the same thing... This is a Steve Irwin thread . Go make your Jeff Corwin thread and you can say whatever you want there. You can say "Steve Irwin is dead so at least we have the better of the two to focus on now" or "Jeff Corwin would never die from an animal attacking him".

I feel sorry for the Croc Hunter as I enjoyed watching his shows a few years back. You're just being a bigger jackass than me.

i wasn't preoccupied with what he had done a few years ago. I was showing pita that it was comparible to the jacko incident. It made a huge stink and i was suprised she didn't see all that went on about it.

I thought the guy was great and he provided my son and I with plenty of entertainment and knowledge over the years. I did think he went a little wacko with the kid but I chaulked it up to that Ausie nutiness.

I remember not too long ago Pita had to be taught some parenting skills as well, from a fellow quaker. haha!
