If so, I had nothing to do with it. RocketGuy messaged me while I was in class saying he cracked my code and told me what it asked. I was surprised. He didn't get some bits in the end (the date) but I figured he's a little genious so I gave him my CAPCS program to finalize it (I didn't tell him the shift key).

Language is code-breaking's advantage and disadvantage. Disadvantage if no one knows how to speak the language (A certain Indian tribe never got their codes broken because no one else could speak it). Advantage if some one knows the language. This leads to letter frequency, common patterns (the, a), digrams (hy, ot, yn, nf), trigrams (ith, ion), etc.

I make no claims to know portuguese. I have never been recorded saying any portuguese with any seriousness.

You on the other hand can speak some amount of English. You have been recorded saying all the words that are contained withen the code.
