I've been sick for the past few days, including today (miserable really.) Anyway, it's a bit of an epidemic in my area, most of my friends have it or have had it. We've got a bit of a saying about it, ever since a few weeks ago when this thing started. "If you dont have it, you've already had it. If you havent had it, you're next!"

It's quite uncomfortable, but I've definitely had worse. (Coxy, Valley Fever, and a body rash-AT ONCE!)

I'm using up my sick days like a muthafucka : (

My company lets the one week p/year sick days to roll over never expiring. I consider myself lucky.

Mine is a use it or lose it. Vacations the same way. It's very rare that I will catch anything from anyone. I rarely get sick.. ;Þ The good thing is they are not "sick" days anymore so you don't have to lie. ;Þ

Yea, that blows. We got a couple of losers here at the office that thinks that sick days are vacation days as well. You really can't prove that they are lying unless they slip up. If your sick then your sick, don't abuse a privilege that the company could take away.

Our vacations are two weeks max p/y and they too roll over. So far I saved four weeks of vacation time, cashed two weeks in and used that money to take my son to Disney for two weeks.

I've just earned my vacation time for my 1 year anniversary at work, so I've got a week's worth of time.

I'm spending 3 days of it on that trip to Louisiana, but other than that I have no idea when the rest will be used. Ours doesn't roll over so I have to spend it by the end of the year.
