I can get good frames, but what annoys me is the fact that they bounce around. if I enter an open area sometimes with players it goes to 50 or 40 fps. it really bugs the shit out of me, and if I make the graphics really shitty too sometimes. it doesn't seem to change lol. but I'm hoping to build a new rig and give this tf2 a try. it better play as soon as butter and I'll be hunting you down CanadianSniper.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this as I haven't read all the posts yet. This could be your virtual memory settings if its happening no matter what detail level you put the game on.
