    Told ya

And if you post about it about the Zone Alarm forum, they act like you are an idiot and don't know wtf you are talking about, despite how easy it is to find 30 other similar complaints.

I ditched after weeks of it using like 150 MB of memory? What firewall uses 150 MB of memory?

I remember this problem. I eventually found a reply that mentioned file sharing programs combine with a feature of zonealarm to cause huge amounts of memory usage.

The solution? To restart once in a while...

Hehe, what about times when the Zone Alarm icon disappears from the tray?

        Zone Alarm is a p.o.s.

That's what I use, but they killed the company off. The best firewall ever is dead because Norton feared it.

no the best firewall ever is the go-to-the-back-of-your-pc-and-disconnect-your-damn-ethernet/phone-cable firewall

(also available as "look-for-a-long-blue-or-gray-wire-and-pull-it-the-hell-out-of-the-ethernet/phone-port" a version for laptops.)

My firewall is called NetDefense firewall. It came with this virus/firewall/spyware/tools/ lots of other stuff program called SystemSuite 6. It is made by VCOM and it works great for me.
