  • Cheap File Hosting?

We are looking for a place to host files for download. Does anyone know of a web host that provides inexpensive file storage?

    Some of the requirements

    Inexpensive but not free
    Has been around a while
Won't be going out of business next month
    Reliable
And we want inexpensive instead of free because we don't want ads or any other lameness about the host.

I know of a host that has been in business for years that will do 150 MB for about $15/yr.

The file hosting probably won't eat up massive bandwidth, nevertheless, high bandwidth caps (25-30 GB per mo) would be nice.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have an FTP server I use to run which had a good amount of users. It served up everything from 1kb files to 4.3 GB files, people were able to download from it at a constant 63Kb a second and that was befor I got the 2x cable modem upgrade.

I allways leave my PC on except for, thunderstorms, upgrades or wifey threatning to hit it with the hose (hehe)

25GB-30GB really isnt that much space, that can be met no problem. my system is running 2x 160GB 7200RPM 8MB cache HD's for a total of 320GB

    Lemme know whats up.
