    Well, Mindz started the Furmark thread (How's your Quake rig stack up) which is a program that really only tests GPU power and has almost nothing to do with the CPU/RAM side of things, so here's this other tool that measures that... it would be nice if you told us what processor and memory you have, and what speed it's running at.

    Sempron LE-1250 @ 3000MHz
    2x2GB Geil Black Dragon DDR2 800 @ 500MHz (DDR1000)

    Hey get the source of castle kohoo and compile the map suits better for quake.

        Nope you don't need the pak.
        You need the kohoo map source and compile it with tools.

          get these:
          http://www.quaddicted.com/stuff/bench_koohoo.bsp
          http://www.quaddicted.com/stuff/bench_koohoo.prt
          and you will also need vis.exe
          http://user.tninet.se/~xir870k/visbjp.zip

          put everything in a dictionary and run: "vis.exe bench_koohoo"
          Then post vis.log and your system specs
