it sucks that its all you can get now. I'm still using a Compaq CRT 22 inch, but I need to get a new system real soon. I mostly only play old games and they'll look stretchy if its on widescreen.

Widescreen in natrually easier to look at than a 4:3 or 5:4 box to the human eye. The stretching effect doesn't bother me at all.e|------------------------0---------------

some monitors come with a feature to display in 4:3. my friends monitor has a hot button right on the front.Comment

I mostly run in windowed modes these days, just picking the best windowed mode that's available to me. It's not quite the same as fullscreen, but once you get used to it it's fine.IT LIVES! http://directq.blogspot.com/Comment
