Seriously , out of my experience being on broadband connections... AT&T (BellSouth of MS) has to be the shittiest service I've ever had.
I've used Adelphia Cable, before going bust and being bought out by Comcast. I have had Comcast Cable (best ISP to date) and Embarq (aquired Sprint DSL in VA..shitty ping times))
So far I have had AT&T DSL at my current residence since the beginning of this year , and since then I've spent roughly 3mo's trying to resolve intermittent connectivity, and been waiting for over 1mo for them to come and install a permanent line, thats buried underground and not stretched across a couple driveways and the street (Seriously, people drive over my connection 0_O)
I've recieved 3mo so far of free service, if you can even call it service.
Horrible!!
The best part though, is when I told the guy that I couldnt wait on them any longer,so I mowed my lawn and cut the temporary line they provided into several peices. They are supposedly also checking some sort of radius for availible services, to see if I am capable of recieving the 6mbit down / 768kbps up service. I'm hoping that im in the appropriate radius so I can continue to complain that the services I'm recieving are not adequate when compared to the services being rendered. I personally think im stuck in a loop of Teir 1 newbness.
