Why am i here? well because is started in quake when it first came out and played in many good clans untill around 2003, then quit for a marriage and bull shit like that. Returned recently and discovered quakeone.com.

I would like to get down to the bottom of the Hate Issue:

Why do people feel entitled to hate?
What liberates people to put anyone down?
Why does something perceived as 'stupid' need to be stepped on?
What ever happened to 'live and let live'?

So what, if I am Kimp's friend?
So what, if I make a stupid posts?
So what, if I am not normal, and like to indulge in unorthodox ways.

IRL, I seem to be doing just fine, with my odd ways and seemingly abstract points of view. Can I get a little love?

I'm not taking sides in anything and I sure don't want to even be involved in this, but you aren't innocent.

To some people your social and moral support of a certain person can be perceived as a threat to others' enjoyment of playing Quake.

This doesn't make anyone else innocent of bad behavior either, there's a lot of that spread all around.

You aren't innocent enough to play the guy dressed up in shining armor pondering from afar why people do bad things. You may be subtle about it and you do keep it mostly polite ... but you are intentionally stirring the pot.
