Errr? I would agree with expect "higher standards".

High maintenance to me has always meant a woman that expects a lot of things to be done for her. But maybe there is some truth in that as well.

But the expression "high maintenance" at least in popular culture is a woman with an excessive list of wants and demands.

Then again, maybe you are completely right and maybe the good ones are "high maintenance" but it doesn't look like it if by nature you meet the expectations naturally.

You aren't the only gay Quaker that has existed, you know.

Diazoild who ran Singed.Net was gay and ran the Singed server and site until 2006. Everyone knew it, but he was quite normal and cultured and otherwise a great guy.

I liked your previous identity when you were Quake enthusiast and happened to be gay whereas you seem to be more someone who needs to explain their gayness who happens to play Quake.

My guess is that this change is because Kimp didn't reform.

Well, I was rooting for him the best I could knowing it was a lost cause (I've seen a number of troublemakers supposedly reform for a short period of time before the normalness wears off and they revert), but he did it to himself.

Columbus Ohio back 15 years or so ago was ranked the 2nd gayest city in American behind San Francisco (the Ohio economy tanked looong before the national economy did).

I've known plenty of gay people and have had a few close gay friends.

You certainly don't represent all gay people. There are plenty of gay people that live their lives without a need to explain to everyone how and why they are gay and many who gayness is not the center of identity of their being.
