Does anyone here have DirecTV? I'm thinking of signing up for their NFL Sunday Ticket special ($59.99/mon for 5 months - you get every channel and the NFL Sunday Ticket). If anyone does have DirecTV, can you post your referral information? If I would sign up with your referral we both would save $10/mon for a year...

Thats an awesome package. I got it free for 5 months when I signed up for Direct TV. I loved it. I don't have it anymore though.

The DirecTV package is a total of $59.99/mo for the first 5 months. You basically pay the $59.99/mo for the NFL Sunday Ticket and get Satelite service package (every single channel) for free. After the 5 months, you have to pay regular price ($114.99/mo) for the top package or downgrade. I plan to downgrade once the 5 months are up.

Right now I have Time Warner Cable and my bill is around $110-$115 just for cable and the quality is going downhill. The picture isn't the clearest, the audio sometimes does not go in sync, and a lot of times I get distorted/pixelated pictures. Switching to DirecTV will be cheaper and give better quality (supposedly, according to people I know who have it).

I had directv..The audio video will still get out of sync but i think there is a option in the menu to resync it or you can always turn the s.o.b. off and back on. I ALWAYS can tell when it is off and my wife just tells me i should deal with it. Damnit woman get back in the kitchen ya know? I want my shit to work. Anyway I got dishnetwork now and it PWNS directv out of the water.
